About the Fund
Investment Aim
To provide a reasonable level of current income, consistent with the preservation of capital, by investing primarily in high quality, short-term money market instruments denominated in U.S. dollars.

- Invests primarily in high quality short-term, US dollar-denominated money market instruments
- Average duration <= 90 days
- Credit quality: A minimum of 95% of the Fund's Total Asset Value will be invested in debt securities rated at least A1/P1by a nationally recognised statistical rating organisation (NRSRO); the remaining 5% of the Fund's Total Asset Value will be invested in debt securities rated at least A2/P2 by an NRSRO.

Market Debt Fund') to 'Western Asset' (e.g. 'Western Asset Emerging Market Debt Fund').
The current prospectus in effect for France still refers to the old fund name, but will be updated shortly.
